  11. I recently bought a 28.8 usr sportster.  Had occasional
  12. connection problems with my isp. the isp said that the problem
  13. likely was with the dsp on my modem.   they said that the date on
  14. the dsp chip should be after 11/95.  Mine was 3/05.  Called the
  15. firm where i bought it and they sent me a new chip.  Date is
  16. 4/18/95.  Do I send it back for one dated after 11/95 or is the
  17. critical date 4/5/95? (or is my isp blowing smoke).  thanks in
  18. advance.
